Anywhere for iPlayer
Anywhere for iPlayer makes use of "Private APIs" to reroute your internet connection without requiring a VPN to be setup. Apple don't allow such apps on the Mac App Store so we have to sell Anywhere for iPlayer here on our website.
Anywhere for iPlayer uses smart proxy technology, designed to bypass any internet filters, enabling you to keep in touch with your friends and family wherever you are in the world.
You can use Anywhere for iPlayer to access iPlayer.
1) Open the “Anywhere for iPlayer” app
2) If you want to bypass any web filters in place on your internet connection, flick the “Enable Proxy” switch in the top right corner (see below for more information)
3) Click the applicable button to continue to iPlayer
4) Login to your iPlayer account and enjoy!
Anywhere for iPlayers's "Proxy Mode" helps you to bypass any restrictions, filters or monitoring of your internet connection and is enabled by default.
Proxy Mode routes Anywhere for iPlayer via our secure servers and this can occasionally cause iPlayer to think that your login is suspicious (because you look like you’re coming from a totally different IP address and location). As a result, you may need to check your emails - iPlayer sometimes sends you an email to unlock your account when this happens.
Access to some external sites may also be unavailable when using Proxy Mode.
When you use Anywhere for iPlayer with Proxy Mode, instead of connecting you directly to iPlayer, the app connects to iPlayer via our secure servers.
All data is encrypted between you and iPlayer: Anywhere for iPlayer cannot monitor the content of your activities.
No. Anywhere for iPlayer can only load the iPlayer website.
No. The Anywhere for iPlayer App sends you directly to iPlayer. If you choose for your password to be remembered, iPlayer stores this in a cookie on your computer and not on the Anywhere for iPlayer App.
